Originally Broadcast 3/23/2009:
Produced by Anne Davis and narrated by Anne-Marie Berger, this segment showcases a day with volunteers working on the Ozark trail at Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park. The trail has been closed since December 2005 when a nearby reservoir broke that unleashed 1.3 billion gallons of water that severely damaged the park. Volunteers from across the state have been dedicating their time to re-assembling the popular Ozark trail, working so that future park guests can enjoy it.

Interesting story that needs a follow-up segment this summer, in order to see the trail in its bloom, which the featured volunteers created.
