Ruth Ezell visits The Stable, a new restaurant in Benton Park that is looking to become a microbrewery and a microdistillery. If all goes as planned, The Stable will produce handmade liquors like whiskey and vodka through fermentation and distilling—processes which have changed little since the 1800s.
