Patrick Murphy meets veteran cartoonist, Tom Engelhardt. Over the past 35 years, he has created more than 8,000 editorial cartoons for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. His artistic inspiration came from the cartoonists that worked at the newspaper before him. Engelhardt defines a good cartoon as one that subtly attacks political ideas and timely issues at both the national and local level.
