I watched a re-run of your story about the Southwest Bank robbery but noticed that the part of an officer getting shot at the side entrance to the bank wasn’t exactly accurate. My father Ben LaRose was also at the side entrance and when the first officer tried to go into the bank he was shot and thrown back against my father who was a detective in plain clothes. I remember this because when my dad came home from work he had blood on the front of his suit and shirt and when my mother saw this she thought he had been shot and fainted. We had a few laughes over the years but only when she was in a good mood. Just thought I would share this with you and hope you keep up the great work on Living St.Louis
