Congratulations to LSL producer Anne-Marie Berger and KETC videographer Scot Page (right, on Emmy night) whose story about Randy Grim and his Stray Rescue organization won an Emmy last weekend.
Berger never thinks she does her subjects justice and she was especially uptight about this one. When I watched it fresh out of the oven the first time I remember thinking it had a nice Emmy smell and so now I get to say: I TOLD YOU SO.
In her acceptance speech, AMB gave all of the credit to Scot for “shooting the story while I stayed in the van and cried.” While that is not strictly true, I will say there was an awful lot of crying that day. Thank goodness for Randy Grim and his dedication to the abused and abandoned dogs in our region.
